Bio

Dublin-based solo project, bloodinwater draws upon the darker new wave and shoegaze influences of Depeche Mode, Soft Cell, Cocteau Twins and the lush analogue soundscapes of Vangelis and John Carpenter. Conceived during the lockdown of 2020, Paul began lending his vocals to his new material for the first time, resulting in a collection of songs which will make their way onto an album in 2021. Evelyn is the debut single from bloodinwater released on Friday the 4th of December 2020, it blends a driving baseline with soaring synth harmonies and is produced by Michael Richards at Trackmix studios, Dublin.
